ABS-CBN Continues to Strengthen Digital Presence on FB and YouTube

ABS-CBN continues to engage more audiences on various platforms as it strengthens its digital presence on Facebook and YouTube with over 33 million followers and 38.6 million subscribers, respectively.

ABS-CBN remains the most followed page in the Philippines on Facebook, while ABS-CBN Entertainment’s YouTube channel was named the most subscribed and most viewed YouTube channel in Southeast Asia in March 2021, according to global video measurement and analytics platforms Tubular Labs.

As the country’s biggest content provider, ABS-CBN’s Facebook and YouTube give viewers access to Kapamilya Online Live, which offers free livestreaming and on-demand viewing of ABS-CBN shows such as Coco Martin’s “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,” infidelity drama “The Broken Marriage Vow,” and trending series “Viral Scandal.” These shows are available for up to seven days to allow Kapamilyas to catch up on the latest episodes.

Recently, Kapamilya Online Live on YouTube was made available 24/7 in the Philippines and was also made accessible in over 180 countries to allow viewers around the world to enjoy binge-worthy content of their favorite Kapamilya shows.

Primetime programs “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” and “Viral Scandal” are also available on-demand with English subtitles to cater to non-Tagalog speaking audiences outside the Philippines.

Apart from its livestreaming component, ABS-CBN’s Facebook and YouTube allow viewers to connect and interact with each other via the chat section and engage with Kapamilya stars during gap shows that stream during commercial breaks such as “Showtime Online U” and “iWant ASAP.”

In August 2020, ABS-CBN fully migrated to digital when it launched Kapamilya Online Live, which would become the online home of its shows as it sought to find ways to stay connected with Filipinos and provide them with entertainment, hope, and inspiration.

ABS-CBN’s efforts to continue to serve with entertaining and inspiring stories boosts the company’s transition into being an agile digital company with the biggest online presence among all media companies, and a growing list of digital properties that appeal to a wide array of audiences.

Join ABS-CBN’s 33 million strong Facebook followers by liking and following its Facebook page and be a part of its 38.7 million YouTube subscribers by subscribing to the ABS-CBN Entertainment YouTube channel.
