Alden Richards to Introduce ‘Richard Faulkerson, Jr’ on Docu-Concert ‘Forward’
He is dubbed as Asia’s Multi-Media Star and has won the title Sexiest Man in the Philippines, twice; He is an A-lister and considered one of the most sought-after endorsers in the country; He is a box-office phenomenal actor and has won multiple acting awards; He is a Guinness Record holder and one of the very few recording artists given the Diamond award by PARI. He is Alden Richards, arguably the Kapuso network’s brightest male talent.
This January, Alden will expose a side of him that we and his legion of fans might still do not know about him. He will introduce Richard R. Faulkerson, Jr., the person behind the camera, who he is in real life and what are his deep aspirations beyond the successful career and various feathers on his cap. He will unleash his “inner philanthropist” via a documentary concert called “Forward” for the benefit of his own charity organization, the AR Foundation.
During the blogcon for “Forward: Meet Richard R. Faulkerson, Jr.,” the actor differentiates Alden from Richard.
“I’m actually a homebody kasi. I don’t usually go out, I’m very private when it comes to anything that’s personal to me. But somehow, this concert really inspired me to give out a huge portion of my life when I was young when I was 13 para makita at malaman ng mga tao why did I start the idea and why did I start a foundation [AR Foundation] and how did I came up with the concert which is ‘Forward’ so malalaman nila ‘yun since this is a documentary concert.”
“It will be insightful and people will find a lot of purpose into it. Kasi ganun naman talaga, when we do something in life, hindi mo naman siya gagawin kung walang dahilan. And one of the main reasons why I really pushed this idea, this concept, this organization to move forward is really because of what I have experienced during my childhood. Before, Richard Faulkerson actually met Alden Richards,” he said.
Alden emphasized the purpose of being Alden. Through the upcoming concert, fans will discover the “more important” milestones in the actor’s life leading to the launch of AR Foundation which enables him to forward and champion his causes. The said foundation, according to its official Facebook page is “dedicated to raise and grant funds for scholars and to provide financial resources for them to develop into well-rounded, confident and responsible individuals who aspire to achieve their full potential.”
ForwARd: A Documentary concert is directed by Frank Lloyd Mamaril. It’s happening on January 20, 2022 at 8:00pm. Proceeds from the ticket sales will be for the benefit of scholars of the AR Foundation.
