Stars of GMA Artist Center Join the #FlexMoNa Vaccine Awareness Campaign
If you’ve been seeing Kapuso celebrities who are posting their vaccination photos on social media, it’s because they are supporting GMA’s #FlexMoNa Vaccine Awareness Campaign. It’s a drive to convince the majority of Filipinos to get vaccinated in order for our country to achieve herd immunity.

According to the Department of Health, when a sufficient percentage of our population has become immune to COVID-19 through vaccination, it will reduce the likelihood of new infections and eventually end this pandemic. However, according to an SWS survey last May, only 3 out of 10 Filipinos are willing to get vaccinated. 33% of the adult population said they were unwilling to get vaccinated, while 35% others were uncertain.
Since we need at least 70% of the population to get vaccinated in order to achieve herd immunity, who else has the most power to influence the general public for this endeavor but the celebrities. Kudos to GMA Artist Center for letting their talents, who by the way have millions of followers on social media, spearhead this campaign.
