The event is organized by the Humboldt University Berlin. Habi: Weaving Philippine Textiles Future, Sen. Legarda will be joined by Dr. Analyn Salvador-Amores of the University of the Philippines Baguio.

The online discussion will be held via zoom today, July 14, 2021, 10-12:00 (Berlin) / 4:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. (Manila).

Prof. Dr. Salvador-Amores will give a talk on “Agabel Tayo! (Let’s Weave): Textile Revitalization in the Philippine Cordillera,” while Deputy Speaker Legarda will share about “Piña Weaving and Embroidery in the Philippines.”
