GMA Artist Center Holds Digital Learning Day for its Talents

GMA Artist Center held a Digital Learning Day for its roster of talents last May 26 to keep them updated on trends and key must-knows in the digital world.

Celebrities keep in touch with their followers on social media that’s why it’s very important for them to be active on various platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok, among other social networking sites. This is because after their fans watched them from an episode of a drama, or any other TV program for that matter, they would like to learn more about the idols that they admire. That’s why it’s crucial for artists to always connect to their fans who are the main supporter of their career.

To help Kapuso stars to thrive in the entertainment scene especially in these times of the pandemic, GMA Artist Center continues with its commitment to developing actors, singers, dancers, hosts, and influencers by holding a Digital Learning Day, just one of the training/seminars that the agency provides for their artists.

Before the start of the training, Sanya Lopez expressed her “hunger” to learn more about social media and other digital strategies that artists should know about.

“I’m very excited, of course, today kasi syempre may panibago tayong matututunan. Of course gusto ko rin matuto kung paano nga ba talaga…minsan kasi, ewan ko kung ako lang, na meron na gusto kong, like maganda yung post mo pero hindi siya masyadong nila-like ng mga tao. Tapos may post din ako na hindi naman siya masyadong ok for me, pero mas mataas yung likes. Di ba? So ‘yun yung mga gusto kong alamin kung bakit ba ganun,” shared by the #FirstYaya star who recently hit 10 million followers on TikTok. She is currently the most-followed Kapuso artist on the said platform.

Hosted by Rain Matienzo, the GMAAC Digital Learning Day was graced by experts from various fields who served as trainers for the Kapuso artists who joined the virtual event. The YouTube segment was led by Pablo Mendoza, Country Lead for YouTube Content Partnerships; The Facebook segment was represented by Annaliza dela Cruz, FB’s Strategic Partner and Development Lead; For Podcasting, Podcast Partner Manager Philippe Disini took the lead; “Promil Kid” Shaira Luna shared her knowledge about Phone Photography; Consultant/Strategist Jako de Leon taught the importance of a Social Media Team; SamYG shared some tips on being an effective influencer as well as Mich Lozare from Nas Daily; Other panelists include Raffy Casas, Getcraft Senior Vice President; Jamie Paraso, Country Director for Gushcloud Philippines; and Des Lacson and Julie Zhu for TikTok.

The Digital Training Day is just one of GMA Artist Center‘s line of events to hone their talents into the best performers that they can be, passionate not only about excelling in their craft but also about being an inspiration to their audiences.
