“MMK” celebrates women’s month this March with a two-part special starring Angeline Quinto as Rebecca in a life story that proves women possess the strength to face and overcome life’s toughest trials starting this Saturday (March 13).

Rebecca grew up taking to heart her mother Conching’s (Irma Adlawan) teaching that she must face life’s problems using her head before her emotions. Having ten siblings, Rebecca knew that she needed to help Conching to feed their family because her father Arong and older siblings were too dependent on her mother.

She helped Conching sell fish and accepted house cleaning jobs to fund her tuition. Her life became even more difficult when her father’s favorite child died of dengue and her mother got diagnosed with lung cancer.

But instead of letting her emotions get the best of her, she strived hard to support her family and became the CEO of her own company.
