PH Gets 7 Nominations at the 2020 Asian Television Awards

The Philippines only bagged 7 from a total of 257 nominations in the 2020 Asian Television Awards, the 25th edition of the Singapore-based award-giving body. 50 awards are to be given away in a virtual ceremony to be held on January 15 and 16, to be streamed live via ATA’s official Facebook page.

Here are the categories which the Philippines got a nomination:

BEST DOCUMENTARY SERIES

Other nominees are “Struggle Street – Series 3” (Australia), “Borderlands” (Singapore), “Our Plastic World” (China), and “Once Upon A Bite 2” (China).

BEST NATURAL HISTORY OR WILDLIFE PROGRAMME

Story Of Our Islands: The Natural History of The Philippines
ONE News / Cignal TV

Other nominees are “Mysterious Planet” (New Zealand), “Orphans of the Earth” (Taiwan), “Orangutan Jungle School 2” (New Zealand),
and “Vanishing Kings – Lions of the Namib Desert” (Taiwan).

BEST MUSIC PROGRAMME

Other nominees are “Sing for the Stars” (Thailand), “LookThung Idol” (Thailand), “Konsert Orang Kita Orkestra RTM” (Malaysia), and “Voice of Mongolia” (Mongolia), and “Semenay Our Songs” (Taiwan).
