Lesha’s ‘Sad Songs’ Resonates with Listeners in Southeast Asia

Young singer-songwriter Lesha proves to be an emerging hitmaker with the recent success of her latest single “sad songs,” which landed on various Spotify New Music Friday playlists across East and Southeast Asia upon its release.

“I’ve been receiving so much love on the song! Surprisingly, so many people could relate to the lyrics and I’ve even received messages about my fans crying to it,” Lesha gushed when asked about the positive feedback to her new music.

Following the achievements of her debut single “Ciao, Bella,” “sad songs” was featured in Spotify’s New Music Friday editorial playlists in the Philippines, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam immediately after it dropped on the music streaming platform.

Its music video, featuring Lesha’s close friend and “Oh Mando!” star Alex Diaz, is now up on her official YouTube channel.

“I have something dropping for everyone on December 4,” she excitedly teased.

Apart from her solo singles “sad songs” and “Ciao, Bella,” Lesha also teamed up with her fellow female Southeast Asian artists for the track “HEAL” under ABS-CBN Music International for the benefit of “Pantawid ng Pag-ibig.”

Listen to Lesha’s “sad songs,” out now on various digital music streaming services, and watch out for her upcoming release this December. For more details, like Star Music on Facebook (www.facebook.com/starmusicph) and follow it on Twitter and Instagram (@StarMusicPH).
