Kim Taehyung Breaks iTunes Record as Solo Track ‘Sweet Night’ Tops 109 Countries

Ultimate Asian Heartthrob Kim Taehyung, also known as V of BTS, is trending worldwide once again as his self-composed OST “Sweet Night” from the Korean drama “Itaewon Class” charted at no. 1 on iTunes in a total of 109 countries around the globe including the Philippines. “Sweet Night” bested his group’s (BTS) “Black Swan” which topped the chart in 104 countries and Adele’s “Hello” which was no. 1 in 102 countries. The latest iTunes charts conquered by V were from Mozambique, Ivory Coast, Gambia, and Switzerland.

• First Korean Soloist to Hit No. 1 on iTunes in More than 100 Countries/Territories
