Matthaios, the artist behind the viral song “Catriona,” launched the official music video for his new single “Binibini” featuring Calvin de Leon on Saturday, July 18, 2020. Released by Midas Records and directed by Ephraim Abarca & Nick Hernandez, the video also featured actors Andrea Pauline Brillantes, Chino Liu as Aling Cely, Jamir Zabarte, and Hailey Mendez.

This music video is a parody of Patchot’s transformation from the movie “Must Be Love”. We chose Patchot’s transformation because it’s one of the most famous transformations in the history of Filipino movies and we wanna give tribute to that because it fits the #BinibiniTransformation that went viral on TikTok. We also featured Wilson the Goat as our way of returning the favor to Kuya Cong and Team Payaman for featuring my song “Vibe With Me” on one of their vlogs starring Wilson. All in all, this is just a light and fun music video.

The MV for “Binibini” is currently trending at no. 2 on YouTube Philippines with 430,383 views as of this posting.
