After several Kapamilya stars dropped a teaser on Monday, June 15, basically announcing that Black Sheep is joining the BL (Boys Love) craze, it was unveiled today (June 16) the posters of their first digital series and its main cast.

Black Sheep, a brand of ABS-CBN films creating fearless films that cater to millennials, is venturing into digital series production now that cinemas are in hiatus because of the global pandemic. It’s first project is a BL series “Hello Stranger” starring Tony Labrusca and JC Alcantara. The company unleashed 2 posters of the said series below, the first one featuring the lead stars:

And the second one featuring Tony and JC with their four supporting cast members Gillian Vicencio, Vivoree Esclito, Patrick Quiroz, and Miguel Almendras.

“Hello Stranger” is helmed by Petersen Vargas, the director of the 2016 Cinemalaya Best Picture “2 Cool 2 Be 4gotten” which we can call, technically, a BL movie.

“Hello Stranger” is scheduled to be released on June 24 making it the third Pinoy BL series to be unleashed on cyberspace following The IdeaFirst Company’s GAMEBOYS and VinCentiments’ “Sakristan.”
