IU Drops MV for ‘Eight’ featuring BTS Suga
“Hotel del Luna” star IU celebrates being a 28-year-old in her new brand new music video called “Eight” which features BTS Suga who also produced the track as well. Apparently, Suga is also 28 years old.
The MV has an interesting concept in which the multi-faceted star transports to an animated realm via a state-of-the-art machine. The adventure-themed storyboard meshes perfectly with the nostalgic melody of the track which makes “Eight” an instant hit. In just four hours after its release, it already amassed 3.5 million views on YouTube!
IU and Suga also hit the trending topics worldwide including the Philippines with the no. 1 hashtag #IUxSUGA and no. 2 #EightOutNow.
“Eight” is now considered as the best K-pop collaboration this year so far.
