ASTRO’s Moonbin Stars in New K-drama ‘The Mermaid Prince’

After doing the role of an athletic straight-acting gay student in JTBC’s “Moments of 18” starring Ong Seong Wu, ASTRO member Moonbin finally bagged a titular role in a drama following the footsteps of his colleague Chae Eun Woo.

It’s called “The Mermaid Prince” and it’s a fantasy romance web drama produced by Lifetime and Seezn. It tells the story of a young woman named Hye Ri, portrayed by “Love Playlist” star Jung Shin Hye, who travels to the coast province of Gangwon on a graduation trip with her friends and meets the mysterious “mermaid prince” Woo Hyuk (Moonbin).

“The Mermaid Prince” is slated to premiere on Lifetime’s official YouTube channel on April 24 at 9:00pm KST (8:00pm in Manila).
