NCT 127’s ‘Neo Zone’ Debuts at No. 5 of Billboard 200, BTS at No. 8

NCT 127 entered this week’s Billboard 200 at no. 5 which is their best placement so far. Their latest album “Neo Zone” has sold 87,00 equivalent album units in its first week which is the 5th best performing album in the US for the period March 15 to 21. This is the first time that the group penetrated the Top 10 and third time to enter the chart overall. Last year, their mini-album “We Are Superhuman” debuted and peaked at no. 11

BTS, on the other hand, dropped to no. 8 of the chart this week with 50,000 album units sold from no. 3 last week. “Map of the Soul: 7” debuted at no. 1 of Billboard 200 two weeks ago which marked the group’s 4th no. 1 album in a period of 2 years.

BTS‘ latest single “ON” dropped to no. 68 this week from no. 4 last week. NCT 127‘s single “Kick It” failed to enter Billboard’s Hot 100 singles chart.

BTS and NCT 127 released the official music video of their singles “Black Swan” and “Kick It,” respectively, almost at the same time last March 4.
