For a low-budget film that earned P29.5 million in 4 days, it can be considered already as a box-office hit! That’s the case for “Jowable,” Kim Molina‘s first solo movie under Viva Films which bested its rival movie “Kiko En Lala,” also a comedy movie and also a launching movie at that (it stars Kapuso comedian Super Tekla). On its first day, it reportedly earned P6 million which is higher than expectations.
Supporting Molina in the movie are veteran comedians like Cai Cortez, Kakai Bautista, and Candy Pangilinan. The film was directed by the creator of “Jowable” himself, Darryl Yap.
Did you know that “Jowable” was initially a viral short film by Darryl Yap before Viva Films turned it into a full-length movie?
