Vilma Santos, Christopher De Leon, and Rio Locsin get involved in a love triangle touched by the supernatural on “Haplos,” which will air on ABS-CBN’s “Sunday’s Best” this November 4.

The movie returns to screens 36 years after it was first seen, and coincidentally, a day after the birthday of one of its stars, Vilma Santos. It centers on the love triangle between Al (Christopher), his childhood friend Cristy (Vilma), and the mysterious Auring (Rio).

Rio received a Best Supporting Actress nomination at the 1983 FAMAS Awards for his portrayal of the old-fashioned probinsyana with a dark past.

To date, ABS-CBN Film Restoration Project has already restored over 160 films, some of which were already screened internationally via film fests, screened locally via red carpet premieres, aired on free-to-air and cable television, viewed via pay-per-view and video-on-demand, distributed on DVD, and downloadable even on iTunes.
