The newest addition to ABS-CBN Kapamilya Gold’s roster of programs “Kadenang Ginto,” brings us the story of Romina (Beauty Gonzalez), a simple secretary turned wife to successful business tycoon Robert (Albert Martinez), who married her after bearing the child of her rapist. Unknown to Romina, it was Daniela (Dimples Romana), the rebellious daughter of Robert, who planned the crime. Daniela also successfully seduced Romina’s fiancé, Carlos (Adrian Alandy) so he ended up leaving Romina and marries Daniela instead. With their lives now intertwined, their daughters, Cassandra (Francine Diaz) and Margaret (Andrea Brillantes), are pitted against each other as the rightful heir to Robert’s empire.

Viewers are sure to enjoy scenes of iconic clashes between the rival mother and daughter tandems with intense scenes between the bida and the kontrabida. Just like when Daniela threw red wine on Romina while she was drunk at her father’s party calling her a gold digger, to which the latter retaliated and stood her ground that eventually led to a catfight. The gripping storyline about love and greed showcases Kapamilya teen stars Andrea Brillantes and Francine Diaz bringing to life a family rivalry like no other. Andrea is well-known as the lead of her own teleserye, “Annaliza” which won her accolades in the industry as a promising dramatic actress. While newer in the industry, Francine, already showed potential as the young Erich Gonzales in “Be My Lady” and as a young Kim Chiu in “Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin” and appeared in several other Kapamilya programs. In “Kadenang Ginto,” Andrea and Francine will play two girls with opposite personalities pitted in a complicated rivalry.

Wit and charm envelop the character of Dimples Romana as Daniela, the main antagonist that brings great agony to the character of Beauty Gonazales, Romina. Because of jealousy and greed, Daniela is blinded and selfishly takes everything she perceives as rightfully hers. Playing the neglected daughter and jilted lover never looked this convincing as viewers will surely sharpen their own talons against the evil Daniela.
