The country’s most awarded educational program earns another accolade at the recent Star Awards for TV as it continues to take viewers to fun adventures and discoveries in science and natural wonders.

“Matanglawin,” now on its tenth year, was named Best Educational Program, while anchor Kuya Kim Atienza won Best Educational Program Host in the awards organized by the Philippine Movie Press Club. This Sunday (October 21), tag along with Kuya Kim as he meets members of the Philippine Lightsaber Guild who’ve turned their love for “Star Wars” into an advocacy of instilling responsibility and safety in others. Watch as they show him the art of aerobics, wushu, and other martial arts while donning full Jedi and Sith warriors’ attire. Meanwhile, Kuya Kim will also meet an animal lover who turned his talent for tattoo art into an advocacy for stray cats and dogs.
