John “Sweet” Lapus portrays a man who is driven to pimping out his teenage niece because of poverty on “Ipaglaban Mo” this Saturday (October 13).

Abby (Bella Razon) and Bert (CX Navarro) will come to know their uncle Dan (Sweet) as their father after their mother left them under his care. Dan will try his best to give them a good life in the face of poverty and many problems.

However, in his desperation, he will turn to his old ways—he will pimp out Abby to different foreigners. This is something he did to his sister, which resulted in the birth of Abby and Bert, until she ran away.

Wil Abby also be able to run away from the nightmarish life that her own uncle and father figure brought down on her? What will happen to Dan if his prostitution business is found out?
