Krist Perawat is Voted ‘Sexiest Man in Thailand’ 2018
Last September 17, we nominated 10 male celebrities for the title “Sexiest Man in Thailand 2018.” Netizens cast their votes for 9 days and topping the online poll is none other than Lakorn/BL series actor Krist Perawat.
Krist Perawat was born in Bangkok Thailand on October 18, 1995 and he graduated from Satriwitthaya 2 School and from the Faculty of Economics at Kasetsart University. His real name is Perawat Sangpotirat.
Krist Perawat catapulted to fame when he played the role of Arthit, the head hazer, in the hit BL series “SOTUS” in 2016. The show became a hit not only in Thailand but in other parts of Asia as well. Due to popular demand, it returned for season 2 called “SOTUS S” in 2017.
He was featured in various magazines in Thailand and has won several awards including “Most Popular New Actor” at the 11th Kazz Awards, Best Actor in Thailand Role Model Awards, and Social Super Star of the Year together with his Sotus co-star Singto Prachaya.
Krist garnered a total of 36,008 votes or 35.94% and captured the no. 1 spot. His runner up is his Sotus co-star Singto Prachaya who got 25,951 votes. Placing third is actor/model Prin Suparat who got 21,699 votes. Rounding off the Top 5 are “My Love from the Star” actor Nadech Kugimiya and “2 Moons” star God Itthiphat Thanit, placing fourth and fifth respectively.
Completing the Top 10 are actors James Jirayu (#6), Mario Maurer (#7), Nonkul Chanon (#8), Mick Tongraya (#9) and Ken Phupoom (#10).
