MNL48, the first Idol group in the Philippines, has released the official music video for their debut single called “Aitakatta – Gustong Makita.”

In contrast with popular K-pop and J-pop music videos which are all vibrant and bursting with colors, MNL48’s first MV has a blurry filter that fans have been questioning on YouTube after its release.

Coen Wang said “AITAKATTA AITAKATTA DI KO MAKITA.. YES!! Ang faded di ko kayo masyado makita hahaha.”

Kandai said “Beautiful language but the MV is too brightness.”

48 Group Thailand said “What this filter? Everything is looking good, but i don’t know about filter.”

BNK Family said “Don’t use filter like these on Koisuru please.”

Xynic said “They havent released a physical album yet so they put a filter on this so people will at least have a reason to buy the album. Maybe they will reupload a clear version here on youtube in the future who knows.”

But despite the negative feedbacks received by music video, the girls on the other hand, earned praises from netizens for doing a great job in singing and performing the tagalog version of the hit song popularized by the original Japanese Idol group AKB48.

Moreover, there are unconfirmed reports that the clear version of the MV will be released this August 31 on MYX.

The MNL48 Senbatsu is comprised of the following members: Sheki, Abby, Sela, Tin, Alice, Ella, Ash, Gabb, Jem, Sayaka, Faith, Lara, Grace, Quincy, Alyssa, and Erica.
