“‘John en Marsha’ made me feel I belonged to a complete family.”

This was how Maricel Soriano explained her great love for Dolphy and the cast of “John en Marsha” as she graced the special screening of the digitally restored and remastered “John en Marsha ’85 sa Probinsiya” last July 26 at Cinema Centenario, which was held in honor of Dolphy’s birthday on July 25.

The actress, who is open about her family life, played Shirley, the youngest child of John en Marsha, portrayed by Dolphy and Nida Blanca.

Also in attendance were the Quizon children namely, Eric, Sahlee, Michael, and Ronnie.

Meanwhile, the remaining cast – Madel de Leon Cendaña, Evelyn Bontogon Guerrero, better known as Matutina, joined Maricel in honoring the late Comedy King.

“John en Marsha ’85 sa Probinsiya” will screen at Cinema Centenario, today July 27, 7PM and Black Maria Cinema today at 6 PM and 11:30 PM and tomorrow, July 28 at 4 PM and 7 PM.
