The Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2018 Committee has announced the first four feature films chosen to become official entries to this year’s lineup.
The first entry is “Aurora” from Viva Films. It will star It’s Showtime host Anne Curtis under the helm of award-winning director Yam Laranas.
The second entry is a comedy from Star Cinema and it’s topbilled by phenomenal star Vice Ganda. Joining Vice in the movie are Kapamilya Princesses Loisa Andalio, Maris Racal, and MayMay Entrata. It will be directed by Barry Gonzalez of the “Fangirl Fanboy” fame.
The third confirmed entry is titled “Girl in the Orange Dress” and it’s from Quantum Films and MJM Productions. It will be helmed by Jay Abello.
The fourth entry is a collaboration of showbiz giants Coco Martin and Vic Sotto, under the production of MZet, APT Entertainment and CCM Films. Titled “Popoy En Jack: The Puliscredibles,” the film will also star Maine Mendoza.
The other four official entries will be announced later this year.
