Back-to-Back Battles with ‘Tawag ng Tanghalan’ and ‘Miss Q and A’ on It’s Showtime

“It’s Showtime” is giving its viewers back-to-back treats this week as it gears up for the highly anticipated “Miss Q and A” grand finals and the return of “Tawag ng Tanghalan.”

Every day this week, five semifinalists are competing in word wars to snag a spot in the grand finals dubbed “Miss Q and A: The Final Answer… and I Thank You!” at Resorts World Manila on Saturday (June 30).

Lars Pacheco, Khei Parlaoan, and Princess Khim Santillan have already qualified for the grand finals, where they will be facing off with hall of famers Juliana Parizcova Segovia, Matrica Matmat Centino, and Rianne Azares – beauty queen who have won ten crowns in the daily round.

With six queens already on the grand finals catalog, six more will be picked out from the week-long semifinals to compete for the “Miss Q and A” crown.

The grand winner of the hit competition will receive a “retoke” package worth P500,000, an all-expense paid trip for two to Thailand, the “Miss Q and A” crown and trophy, and P1 million.

While the well-loved beauty pageant is drawing to a close, the biggest singing competition in the country is returning to noontime’s number one show.

In its third year, “Tawag ng Tanghalan” is again looking for the next singing superstar and world-class voices from Metro Manila, Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

The back-to-back excitement brought by “Miss Q and A” and “Tawag ng Tanghalan” surely enticed viewers, as “It’s Showtime” won the nationwide ratings game last Monday (June 25), according to Kantar Media. It recorded a national TV rating of 18.6%, or eight points higher than “Eat Bulaga’s” 10.3%.

Meanwhile, netizens may watch the “Miss Q and A: The Final Answer… and I Thank You!” live on Showtime.abs-cbn.com/Livestream.
