In the travelogue and cooking show “Show Me The Market,” celebrity chef JP Anglo and the Marketman behind the food blog marketmanila.com, Joel Binamira, tour the country to discover key ingredients and meet purveyors, specialists, and personalities who make regional Filipino cuisine truly world-class.

Stylish abodes in the Philippines and all over the world, meanwhile, take center stage on “Metro Home,” a show that is set to inspire viewers to add beautiful touches to their own cribs. Hosted by Metro Home magazine editor-in-chief Anton Barretto and furniture executive Stephanie Kienle-Gonzales, the new program features different design philosophies, traditional and avant-garde architecture, as well as the owners and creators of these fascinating inspirations.

Aside from these locally produced shows, Metro Channel also takes viewers to gastronomic adventures in the UK and America.

In Gordon Ramsay’s “Ultimate Cookery Course,” the world’s favorite British chef is giving home cooks the desire, confidence, and inspiration to hit the stoves and get cooking. Chef Gordon shares modern recipes that are edgy yet simple and accessible in 10 half-hour mouth-watering episodes.

The in-depth documentary “United Plates of America” travels to the big cities in the US to discover the underlying food culture that exists in every town. Its host, Gary Takle, embraces the migrants who have come to live there, while tasting their food and experiencing their culture.
