According to the dictionary, a heartthrob is a “man, typically a celebrity, whose good looks excite immature romantic feelings in women.” This year, we shall begin the search for male celebrities across Asia who make the hearts of women in the region and around the world beat faster.

To find Asia’s ultimate heartthrob, we will conduct 14 polls and each poll will be open for public voting for 7 days. Eight heartthrobs from various countries will vie for the fan vote per group/poll. The highest vote-getter will advance to our Top 30 (semifinals). We will also pick one from each group that will advance in our semifinals.

Since 28 semifinalists will be chosen from the 14 polls, the remaining two that will complete the Top 30 will be wild cards that will be decided by us.

The Top 30 will then vie for public votes on Facebook. The top 5 vote-getters will advance in our final round of 10. The other 5 will also be chosen by us. We will reveal the voting procedures in the finals after we announce the Top 10.

The winner in our final round will be named Ultimate Asian Heartthrob for 2018!
