Pokwang Portrays OFW Mom in ‘MMK’

Pokwang returns to television after giving birth and topbills the special Mother’s Day episode of “MMK” as she gives life to a story of an overseas Filipino mom, Azon, who managed to work abroad for her family’s future this Saturday (May 12).

Ever since Azon (Pokwang) went to Italy, her daughter, Tet (Empress), and son, Tot (Dino Imperial), have been living comfortable lives and can buy get anything they want.  They have no idea how hard life is for her there until they paid her a visit and personally saw her working condition.  Even if it hurts her to see Azon that way, Tet used what she saw as a motivation to work hard and get her mother out that situation.

Life became more difficult after Augusto (Jeric Raval) suffered a stroke, leaving Azon no choice but to go back to the Philippines and take care of him.  How will they survive this ordeal? What will Tet do to help her family?

Joining this upcoming episode are David Chua, Kim Molina, Mikee Agustin,Hyubs Azarcon, and Dang Cruz.  The episode is directed by Dado Lumibao and is written by Mary Rose Colindres. “MMK” is led by business unit head Roda C. dela Cerna.
