Jadine’s ‘Never Not Love You’ Gets an ‘A’ Rating from CEB

Jadine fans waited for almost two years and now James Reid and Nadine Lustre are finally making a comeback on the big screen with Viva Films’ “Never Not Love You.” And adding hype to the much-anticipated “Team Real” movie is the grade it recently received from the Cinema Evaluation Board: “A” for production excellence.

The fans will witness a different and more mature Jadine in NNLY by Antonette Jadaone (the director of “On The Wings of Love” and “Till I Met You”) as the dynamic duo becomes more serious with their craft and turned their back from the genre that they’ve been known for, Rom-Com.

During the press conference for the movie, Nadine told the entertainment press that they are now ready to show their fans a more realistic, profound and relatable love story far from “Diary ng Panget” days.

“Never Not Love You offers something that’s more real, something that’s more raw, and more true to life for us. I think, as we get older we want to try new things. Ako, I’m super excited to be here. Pushing limits. Not necessarily daring, not necessarily more mapangahas, but we’re really excited to try out new roles,” she said.

NNLY tells the story of how young and carefree lovers make an impulsive decision to live and work together outside the country only to find out that their dreams would take different paths. The will cross paths five years later after so much has changed including the love they used to have for each other.

In the movie which was mostly shot in London, James plays a graphic designer named Gio while Nadine portrays the role of Joanne, a management trainee in a direct-selling company. The couple will be forced to choose between love and career and their life choices will eventually tear them apart.
