Janice de Belen returns to “Ipaglaban Mo” this Saturday (Feb 3) to play the role of a woman who found herself caught in an odd case of mistaken identity after her niece went missing.

Since her sibling worked abroad, Leona took the role of being a mother to her niece, Rachel (Heaven Peralejo). When she learned about Rachel having a boyfriend, she immediately reprimanded the young girl and demanded for her to end the relationship.

Leona did not expect that their fight will prompt Rachel to run away. She searched everywhere for Rachel until she received a call from the police that they recovered the body of a girl who committed suicide after being raped. After seeing the body and its resemblance to her niece, she concluded that it was Rachel and immediately filed a case against the suspects.

Days after, however, Leona was shocked to see her niece standing in front their doorstep.
