K-Pop Band BTS to Perform at the 2017 American Music Awards

K-pop band BTS establishes its global celebrity status as they reach the shores of the United States. The band is currently stateside to make their US awards show performance debut at the 2017 American Music Awards which will air live on Monday at 9 AM on RTL CBS Entertainment on SKY.

It comes as no surprise then that the group’s Twitter account recently breached the 10 million followers mark, a first for any Korean pop act. This feat also earned them their third Twitter emoji.

The recipient of the Choice International Artist Award at the People’s Choice Awards held earlier this year is also nominated at the recent MTV European Music Awards.

The boys of BTS namely, of J-Hope, Jimin, Jungkook, RM, Suga, V, and Jin, have a packed schedule ahead of them in the US as they will also do the round of late night talk shows apart from performing at the AMAs.

BTS joins artists like Selena Gomez, Kelly Clarkson, Alessia Cara with Zedd, and Demi Lovato in the line-up. Along with living legend Diana Ross, who will give a rare performance as well as receive the AMA Lifetime Achievement Award and Christina Aguilera who will pay tribute to diva Whitney Houston on the anniversary of the movie that made her a pop culture icon, “The Bodyguard.”

Watch BTS perform at the 45 th American Music Awards as it airs live from the Microsoft Theater on Monday, November 20 at 9 AM, with a primetime encores at 10:20 PM, exclusively on RTL CBS Entertainment.
