India Wins Miss World 2017, Philippines Settles for Top 40 Placement
Medicine student Manushi Chhillar from India bested 117 other contestants in Miss World 2017 which was held Saturday night, November 18, at Sanya City Arena in China.
The 20-year-old was also one of the 5 winners of Beauty with a Purpose activity, a head-to-head winner, and finalist in People’s Choice, Multimedia, and Top Model events.
1st Princess is Miss Mexico, Andrea Meza while 2nd Princess is Miss England, Stephanie Hill.
Completing the Top 5 are Aurore Kichenin from France and Magline Jeruto from Kenya.
Philippines’ very own Laura Lehmann only managed to advance in the Top 40.
