LTE is still the fastest in mobile connectivity and Sun boasts of a wider LTE coverage in the country courtesy of PLDT. The network upgrade allows subscribers to stay online 24 hours a day and 7 days a week enjoying activities like surfing, downloading files, streaming music and videos, and mobile gaming in blazing speeds and affordable prices.

The Sun LTE-ready SIM is now available at P35 for new subscribers, while existing Sun subscribers can get it for free by swapping their old 3G SIM to an LTE-ready SIM at any Sun Shop nationwide. It can be cut to regular, micro, and nano SIM sizes.

“We encourage our Sun customers to upgrade their SIMs to LTE-ready SIMs for free in our Sun shops, as well as upgrade to LTE devices so they can fully tap the improved LTE network that we are putting in place,” said Alex O. Caeg, head of Consumer Business for Customer Development.

Sun’s postpaid offers include the Easy LTE Plan 999 which is loaded with 4GB of monthly data allocation. For prepaid subscribers, Sun has launched the BigData70 promo with 1 GB data for surfing or streaming, unli-text to all networks, and 30 mins of calls to Sun. This is valid for 7 days for only P70 (The syntax is BDATA70 and send to 247).
