Partners Become Rivals in ‘I Can Do That’ This Weekend

ABS-CBN talent-variety show “I Can Do That” kicks the competition up a notch by pitting iCandidates performing together in an act against each other beginning this weekend (May 6 and 7).

The change sets partners in opposition as they try to outshine each other while also giving solid performances. How will this affect the iCandidates’ collaborative approach to make their acts stand out?

This week, JC Santos at Gab Valenciano will showcase their grace and flexibility in their rhythmic gymnastics act, while Arci Munoz and Wacky Kiray will try to make viewers laugh in their foot puppet act. The trio of Cristine Reyes, Daniel Matsunaga, and Sue Ramirez, meanwhile, will keep viewers on the edge of their seats as they perfect their chair balancing act.

The competition also gets tougher this time, because only one iCandidate will be named the winner every week.

After all of the performances, all of the iCandidates get to choose the performer in each act who they think stood out. The studio audience then votes for the weekly winner.

Last week, Pokwang was officially eliminated from the competition after she volunteered to drop out so she can spend more time with her daughter. Now, only seven iCandidates remain, and Daniel is still ahead of the others on the scoreboard. Will the others catch up and finally dethrone him this week?
