Kapamilya Stars Triumph at 19th Gawad Pasado Awards

ABS-CBN, Star Cinema, and Cinema One bagged six recognitions in the 19th Gawad Pasado Awards, organized by the Pampelikulang Samahan ng mga Dalubguro (PASADO) last May 3, at the De La Salle University.

Leading the winners are Charo Santos-Concio and Vilma Santos who were hailed as the Pinakapasadong Aktres for their stellar performance in the hit movies “Ang Babaeng Humayo” and “Everything About Her,” respectively.

On the other hand, the Pinakapasadong Aktor award was bagged by two more Kapamilya stars, Piolo Pascual for “Hele sa Hiwagang Hapis” and Enrique Gil for “Dukot.”

Primetime King Coco Martin was honored with two awards, namely Pinakapasadong Simbolo sa Kagandahang Asal and Pinakapasadong Aktor sa Teleserye for the action/drama series “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.”

Meanwhile, Cinema One Originals’ “Ang Babaeng Humayo” was awarded as one of the Pinakapasadong Pelikula ng Taon.

Kapamilya stars Paulo Avelino and Zanjoe Marudo took home the Pinakapasadong Katuwang na Aktor for their portrayals in “The Unmarried Wife” and “The Third Party,” respectively.

Child actor Onyok Pineda was also recognized as the Pinakapasadong Likhang-Bata sa Pagganap for the movie “The Super Parental Guardians” and the primetime TV series “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.”

Gawad PASADO (Pampelikulang Samahan ng mga Dalubguro or Film Association of Professors) is a group of film educators in the country that honors artists, directors, films, TV shows and music that have positively contributed in the disciplines of social studies, language, arts, and humanities annually.
