In an article by the Philippine Star on Saturday, Government prosecutors are looking into reports that actor Mark Anthony Fernandez had attempted to slash his wrist and pointed a pair of scissors at other inmates at the district jail in Angeles City.

A source from the Angeles City regional trial court (RTC) who refused to be identified said Fernandez took the scissors from a barber while he was having a haircut.

It explains why the actor sported a bandage on his wrist, contrary to earlier reports that he was injured during a basketball game, the source said.
