The X Factor Australia delivered another stunning elimination for the second time this season. After Half Vietnames Natalie Ong (who’s being predicted to win this season) got the boot after the first live show, now another vocal powerhouse has been voted off–the Filipina Girl Group AYA.
The results after the showdown: Iggy Azalea voted for AYA while Mel B voted for BEATZ. Adam Lambert voted for AYA while Guy Sebastian voted for BEATZ. Because of the deadlock, Australia’s vote will decide and it favored pure Aussies BEATZ.

AYA’s Exit interview:
AYA will take with them the honor of having to work with Iggy Azalea.
“Being able to work with Iggy is amazing. We couldn’t ask for a better mentor,” they said.
Iggy, on the other hand, assured the girls that this is just the beginning for them. “I think that there are big things to come and I will make sure of it,” she said.
Cat, Vita and Calmel just started singing together as a group for the competition. They had a name-change crisis, though, from being known as Chai during the audition then it was changed to Montage during the three-chair challenge; and finally being called AYA during the first live show.
