Pinay Girl Group ‘Montage’ Makes Waves During the Three Seat Challenge of ‘The X Factor Australia’

A group of three Filipina singers called Montage has made it through the three seat challenge of “The X Factor Australia 2016.”

The trio was first known as Chai during the auditions but judge Iggy Azalea said they should change their name because it sounds like latte but their rendition of Gnarl Barkley’s “Crazy” was nevertheless outstanding (CLICK HERE FOR RELATED ARTICLE).

Now known as Montage, the group returned to the show for the Three Seat Challenge performing Ariana Grande’s “Break Free.”

Adam Lambert did not like their performance pointing out that their harmonies were not polished compared to the other girl group called Beatz. Guy Sebastian said Montage was amazing. But what counts was Iggy Azalea’s opinion. And she liked Montage and gave them a seat.

Montage will return next week for the first live show.
