Dyan Castillejo got a chance to talk to Castillo, who currently competes in “Fight Farm,” the first amateur reality MMA show in the country. Castillo shares how a problem in his eyesight did not stop him from earning an education, finding work as a graphic artist, and eventually heeding the call to fight in his blood. Meanwhile, Castillejo will also visit actress Jodi Sta. Maria, of “Please Be Careful with my Heart” and “Pangako Sa’yo” fame, who will share her fitness secrets and exercises. The veteran sports journalist will also bring viewers a behind-the-scene look at the trending opening ceremony of UAAP Season 79 last Saturday at the Quadripavilion of host school, University of Santo Tomas. “Sports U” aims to promote athletes who have inspiring stories to share and may possibly become future sports stars of the country. It also promotes fitness and healthy lifestyle by looking into how celebrities stay in shape. Watch Jiar Castillo’s inspiring story, Jodi Sta. Maria’s fitness routine, and the UAAP season opening this Thursday (September 8) after “Bandila” on ABS-CBN and on Sunday (September 11) on ABS-CBN Sports+Action ch. 23.
