Meg Imperial and Valerie Concepcion take on the challenging role of two friends who have to resort to using their bodies to make a living on “MMK” this Saturday (Aug 13).

Julia (Meg Imperial) grew up as neglected teenager who joined pageants and bikini opens in hopes of getting her mother’s attention.

Lacking the guidance of her parents, Julia accepts an offer from a neighbor to join a cultural group in Zamboanga. Her neighbor, however, tricks her, and the truth is that Julia is set up to be a sex worker.

A few months later, Julia meets Denise (Valerie Concepcion), who is also a dancer but in a man-hater club. The two quickly form a strong bond that when Denise is impregnated, Julia stays by her side and gives the support she needs.

Almost a year later, Julia finds an opportunity in a high-end club in Cebu City for a much higher remuneration and invites Denise and the rest of their friends to take on the offer.
