ABS-CBN Sweeps 9 of the Top 10 Programs Nationwide in July

ABS-CBN once again dominated the list of most watched programs in the country with “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” as the runaway winner with an average national TV rating of 43.1%, beating its new rival “Encantadia” with a distant 19.9%.

GMA Network’s “Encantadia,” on the other hand, enters Top 10 at no. 10 in July.

Top 20

Following the Coco Martin starrer are “The Voice Kids” (36.9%), “Wansapanataym” (34.2%), and “Dolce Amore,” which clinched the fourth spot with an average national TV rating of 33.6%

Other Kapuso programs which made it to the Top 20 are “24 Oras,” “Pepito Manaloto,” “Magpakailanman,” and “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho.”

    Bakit sa wikipedia and KANTAR nkaindicate mga subscriber (ABScbn, solar, hbo, mtv, fox, discovery, sony, google etc). akala ko ba sabi nila abscbn lng daw subscriber sa kantar? ok if we consider phil tv stations, 3 lng nman major station s pinas (abs, gma, tv5). abscbn is kantar.. so kung gma at tv5 sa agb eh di 1 lang pla lamang ng agb in terms of phil major stations. pero other minor stations mas marami ang kantar. Even number of panels mas lamang kantar (2,610) vs agb (1,980). Just analyzed lng.

    san ng aldub ng gma? bat zero rating sa top 20..anyare sa uyam di ata naka 300m kala ko ba 1Bil..bilbil lang pala..yayabang kc fans ng aldub eh nahawa tuloy c alden sya lang gusto ko di tulad ng partner nya yabang sa blog post..ayan kc e di naglaho sa karimlan..

  11. Kc ang Kamuning hnd member ng KBP dahil dyn walang limitation sa ad load per show. Yan nga ang reason nila kaya sila umalis hahaha… Sa ABS regulated sila ng KBP policy pgdating sa mga commercial.

SAMY, for your info, GMA ang insecure sa ABS-CBN kaya nga pinipilit nilang mag-labas ang AGB ng kanilang survey pero kahit sa AGB talo sa rating ang mga shows ng GMA, sa movies pa lang talong talo ng ang GMA, ilan na ba ang nagawang movie ng GMA ngayong 2016…Imagine You and Me, kasama pa ng GMA Gilms ang M-ZET para lang makagawa ng movie sa taong ito, samantalang ang ABS-CBN halos hindi na mabilang, August pa lang…paano na-insecure ang ABS-CBN….hahahaha….

  18. Ang net ng GMA ay 1 Billion;ang 2 7oo plus million sa unang quarter ng 2016 kc nga mas malaki ang kita ng GMA per minute! at mas malaki ang market value ng GMA kysa abs.

    The Philippines three biggest television networks ABS-CBN, GMA and TV5 reportedly have these as their published rate card for 2013. A published rate card is simply the Advertising Rate for every TV commercial (TVC). A 30-second ad on Primetime on ABS-CBN costs P824,374; P695,500 on GMA 7 and P444,000 on TV5. ABS-CBN‘s rate card is at most 40% more expensive than GMA’s published rate card. Sometimes, TV networks give an agency discount, which are given, determined in large part by the volume of ad placements.
    Meanwhile, in its annual report, Kantar Media, a television audience measurement provider, released its report Advertising Expenditure Report 2013 earlier this year. It disclosed that in 2013, a record total of P264 billion were the advertising revenues on Television, out of the total P340 billion for the whole advertising industry (TV, radio, and print media), with ABS-CBN getting 42.69% of the lion share or P112.70 billion, GMA-7 earned 30.44% or P80.36 billion while TV-5 managed to only get 7.84% of the total ad revenue for 2013 which translates to a no nonsense P20.70 billion. Kantar Media’s monitoring did not include digital advertising which inludes online sites which is a burgeoning industry.

    ABS-CBN managed to out sell GMA7 by about P32.34 billion in ad revenues. ABS-CBN claims ratings leadership nationwide citing data from Kantar Media, while GMA-7 claims leadership in Urban Luzon citing data from AGB Nielsen.

    O ayan kapams overload…ang abs cbn ay member ng kbp kung saan pinoprotektahan kaming mga manonoud para hindi puro pakabig lng lagi gaya ng istasyon nyo.di kayo pnoprotektahan.ahahaha malinaw na kaya wag puro kuda para hindi mapahiya.

    The Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) takes a proactive stance in performing its self-regulatory function through the strict implementation of the 18–minutes-of-commercials-per-hour rule among its member television networks.

    The move fulfills KBP’s inherent responsibility as a broadcast media organization to promote the best interest of the public. The 18–minute rule will not only benefit the public but the advertisers as well, as it prevents advertising clutter and makes advertisements more effective.

    The KBP is steadfast on the implementation of the rule, and is confident to gain the support and compliance of member networks.

    At the forefront KBP’s efforts to promote more responsible broadcasting through self-regulation is the KBP Standards Authority (SA), which is tasked by the KBP’s charter to implement policies, guidelines, standards, and rules and regulations for the operation and discipline of the broadcast media, including advertising standards.

    Through the strict implementation of the 18-minute advertising rule and the consistent enforcement practices of the KBP-SA, the KBP hopes to further elevate its role as the country’s sole broadcast self-regulatory body dedicated to the ultimate goal of shaping a truly responsible broadcast media.
