Antonette Tismo, the kid who became famous on YouTube for singing the Aegis hit “Sayang na Sayang” while selling rice cakes and vegetables, auditioned on “The Voice Kids” and swept the judges off their feet.

The 13-year-old young vendor became a three-chair turner from the first 10 seconds since she opened her mouth to sing.

Lea Salonga said “Ang galing mo, bata ka. Kahit na napakataas na ‘yung mga nota, hindi tunog sigaw, tunog kanta pa rin.”

Bamboo said “‘Yung sarili mong puso, ‘yung sarili mong style, napasok mo sa kanta.”

Sharon Cuneta said “Siguro ‘yung dami ng views ng viral mong video sa YouTube, siguro nakadagdag ‘yung sa kumpiyansa mo sa sarili mo kasi pagharap naming tatlo, talagang parang wala, humihinga ka lang eh. Hindi naman kailangang bumirit nang pasigaw. Pwedeng bumirit nang katulad ng ginawa mo.”

The three coaches fought hard to get Tismo. Coach Lea even boasted her 3.5 million Twitter followers that could complement the YouTube views garnered by the girl. Tismo, however, chose Coach Sharon in the end.
