When it comes to stories, each Filipino has their own journey. Although they can’t verbally tell them in their performances, they do not fail to make us feel their passion and struggles. Sometimes we just can’t help but show a little emotion, we are all humans after all.

1. A SHOW FOR A FRIEND (Urban Crew – Hiphop Dance Group)

Filipinos are known for our deep family ties, even our friends to us are treated like family. The Urban Crew dedicated their audition performance to a member of their family who recently passed away.

 

2. BELIEVING IN YOURSELF (Raynier Dalde – Singer with Operatic voice)

Another trait Filipinos are also known for is humility. When Raynier Dalde was given positive feedback from the judges, he broke out in tears because he was not used to hearing praises for himself.

 

3. LOVE FOR FAMILY (Mark Basmayor – Bone Breaker)

Some performances are born out love for family, Mark Basmayor is a testament that through all the hardships life throws at you, families will always be there and will be our strength. (BONUS: Vice Ganda even surprised Mark by promising to shoulder the expenses for his wedding.)

 

4. INSPIRING OTHERS (Micah Cate – Singer)

In spite of being bullied for his birth conditions, Micah Cate continuous to be brave and is an inspiration to all our differently-abled brothers and sisters. Facing the tough judges, only Micah was called back to sing once more to get the “yes” of Vice Ganda.

 

5. TRUE LOVE NEVER HIDES (Power Duo – Dance Duo)

They say true love cannot hide, the Power Duo not only showed the love they shared but also confessed the love they had for each other. Will their love prove to be the difference when they dance one more time in the Grand Finals?

 

The grand showdown of the country’s most talented acts finally happens this weekend in the highly anticipated grand finals of world class talent show “Pilipinas Got Talent” live at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

Twelve acts go all out in hopes of becoming the fifth grand winner of the world renowned talent-reality franchise and win the P2 million jackpot.
