Duterte is the New President of the Philippines, VP is Still a Toss Between Marcos and Robredo
With more than 5 million lead against second placer Mar Roxas in 84.16% of PPCRV tally (as of 1:16am of May 10, 2016), it’s now safe to say that Rodrigo Duterte is the new President of the Philippines IN MY OPINION. The tally is still partial and unofficial, and only COMELEC will declare the official results but common sense will tell you that the former Davao Mayor is uncontested in the polls with 14,185,242 votes against Roxas’ 8,467,223 votes.
However in the Vice Presidential race, it’s a different story because Bongbong Marcos and Leni Robredo are still neck and neck and the race is still between the two of them.
The senatorial race, on the other hand, is being topped by Tesdaman Joel Villanueva.
