ABS-CBN Releases Statement on Cayetano’s Political Ad

ABS-CBN has released a statement on Saturday, May 7, 2016, regarding Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano’s political ad.

Here is the full statement:

ABS-CBN did not block the airing of Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano’s political advertisement. The ethics committee only requested that the footage showing our network executives in the “Harapan ng Bise” debate be edited out from the ad. However, we did not receive the revised material.

ABS-CBN also did not object to the use of the footage from the “Harapan ng Bise” debate in the same ad for airing in other TV stations.
