Korean student Yohan Hwang won the hearts of audience after he sang “Ako’y Sa ‘Yo, Ika’y Sa Akin” by I-Axe on “I Love OPM” which aired on Saturday, February 27, 2016.

Lani Misalucha and Martin Nievera pointed out that Hwang has star quality.

Toni Gonzaga, on the other hand, praised his diction in Tagalog.

“Kung sino man ang nagturo sa iyo, ang galing niya. Kasi pag pumikit ako at hindi ko inisip na galing ka sa ibang bansa at Koreano ka, iisipin ko Pilipino iyong kumakanta,” she explained.

Yohan received 3 nods from the show’s immigration officers and will advance to the next round.
