Harris Dio Smith from Pakistan sang “Beep Beep” by Pepe Smith on “I Love OPM” which aired on Saturday, February 13, 2016.

The 30-year-old Pakistani learned how to sing OPM from his Filipino friends in Dubai who adopted him as part of their family.

“I am very much thankful to my Filipino friends…They really saved my life in my times of despair. I have learned a lot of good things from them. If it wasn’t for my Filipino friends, I would not have been here today where I am,” he said.

Harris got the nods from judges Lani Misalucha, Toni Gonzaga and Martin Nievera. He will advance to the next round.
