The whole country is eagerly awaiting the moment Jordan Clarkson, the Fil-American guard of the Los Angeles Lakers who is having a pretty good season, takes to the floor at the BBVA Compass Rising Stars Challenge on Saturday (February 13) at 10AM, where he will be facing other rookies and sophomores from the United States of America and the rest of the World team.

Clarkson joins 2015 Slam Dunk champion Zach LaVine of the Minnesota Timberwolves and his teammate, the top pick of the 2015 NBA Draft, Karl-Anthony Towns on the U.S. Team that will go up against the World Team bannered by New York Knicks’ sensational rookie, Kristaps Porzingis from Latvia and the 2014 NBA Draft top pick Andrew Wiggins, who is also the teammate of Towns and LaVine.

The Lakers’ sophomore guard will also be busy for he will participate in the Taco Bell Skills Challenge, one of the exciting events alongside the Foot Locker Three Point Contest, bannered by Golden State’s Splash Brothers, and the Verizon Slam Dunk Contest, where LaVine hopes to defend his title at the State Farm All-Star Saturday Night, which will air on Sunday (February 14) at 9AM on ABS-CBN Sports + Action Channel 23.

ABS-CBN Sports + Action will also air the 65th All Star Game on Monday (February 15) at 9am, which coincidentally will be the last NBA All-Star Game of Lakers legend Kobe Bryant. Kobe will be joined by 2015 NBA Most Valuable Player Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors on the West Team against the East Team of 4-time NBA MVP Lebron James from the Cleveland Cavaliers and 2010 All Star Game MVP Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat.

TJ Manotoc and Boom Gonzales of ABS-CBN Sports are currently in Toronto, Canada for the festivities and have been serving for many years as the Filipino delegation to the NBA All-Star Games, a sporting event that is being watched worldwide. The difference this 2016 is that a special feature will also be made about their NBA experience which will be shown in the future coverages of the games on “NBA sa ABS-CBN.”

“NBA sa ABS-CBN” is only one of the offerings of ABS-CBN Integrated Sports that also brings other prime sporting event coverages like the UAAP, NCAA, Pinoy Pride, and matches of Philippine Azkals.
