‘My Bebe Love’ Breaks MMFF Opening Day Record Says GMA News
GMA News reported on Saturday, December 26, that the AlDub-starrer “My Bebe Love” broke the MMFF Opening Day Record as it posted gross earnings of P60,462,169.57 on its opening day.
“My Bebe Love” is the first movie together of the phenomenal love team consisting of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza. Starring in the movie are Comedy royalties Vic Sotto and AiAi delas Alas under the direction of Jose Javier Reyes.
According to the report, “My Bebe Love” raked a whopping P60,462,169.57 on December 25, 2015 which makes it the new record holder of the Biggest Opening for an MMFF Movie and also the Biggest Opening for a Pinoy Film in general.
It means the AlDub-starrer broke the P53.3 opening day record of last year’s top-grosser “The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin.” It also broke the P43.3 million record of “A Second Chance” for the Biggest Opening for a Pinoy Film for 2015.
