Kapuso Princess Bea Binene is turning 18 this November and she’s thrilled to embark on a new adventure and to evolve as an actress and host of her new reality-lifestyle TV program entitled “Legally B” which airs on GMA News TV every Saturday at 11:30 in the morning.
During the blogcon for “Legally B,” the title of her 18th birthday celebration and new show, Bea talked about how thrilled she is to open a new chapter in her life. She also shared her birthday plans and what her fans should expect from her in the days to come.
Here are excerpts from our interview with Bea…
On her preparations for upcoming debut party:
“Actually almost everything is already fixed, nakapag-food tasting na ako, kahapon nag-gown fitting ako, siguro everything is 80% done.”
On her dream role and actors she would like to work with in the future:
“With no specific partner, my dream role is something na action film or action series, yung mala-Salt yung with guns and fight scenes and everything and then the other one is a series or a film na light lang na parang rom-com na heartwarming na hindi yung hahagulogol ka dahil ang sakit sa puso.”
On her priorities, travelling and ‘me time’:
“Well ako po sobrang gusto ko ng adventure, gusto ko talaga mag-travel pero I know naman my priorities, and if ever naman na magta-travel, nagpapablock kami ahead of time like two weeks or three weeks before.”
On the things that she treasured the most and shaped her as a person:
“Of course my family, my career kasi I’ve been her almost 12 years already kung baga pinaghirapan na, ang dami nang napagdaan to get to where I am today, so yun isa yun sa dapat talagang alagaan kasi ang daming taong naglu-look up sa ‘yo so dapat i-treaure talaga.”
On experiencing disappointments:
“Everything happens for a reason and I just tell myself na if it’s gonna happen it’s gonna happen. Kung ano yung kulang siyempre may dadating din naman hindi lang yung kung ano ang ine-expect mo kundi something bigger.”
On doing solo projects now rather than having a love team:
“Legally B po is a block timer sa GMA News TV, minsan kasama ko ‘yung mga kaibigan ko. With regards to love team, it’s not up to me because lahat sa GMA e, binibigyan kami ng soap. So if ever, sa kanila manggagaling kung magkakaroon kami ng love team.”
On possible changes on her career now that she’s turning 18:
“Siguro hindi mag-che-change ng bago talaga, siguro mag-e-evolve lang siya, it will just get better.
On who are her invited guests:
“Meron kasing 18 roses, 18 candles, 18 treasures and 18 gifts. Definitely my friends. Yung mga showbiz siyempre sina Barbie, Louise, Joyce, Derick, Kristoffer. I invited Alden pero di pa ko sure kung makakapunta siya, and then some other people na nakasama ko na sa mga shows ko before and ‘yung talagang mga close sa akin na showbiz and non showbiz.”
