Joey de Leon Calls ‘It’s Showtime’ ‘Kawawa’ on Live TV (Video)
Joey de Leon took a swipe at rival noontime show on Monday, October 19, during the #KalyeSerye segment of Eat Bulaga!
The veteran host and comedian talked about upcoming big events of AlDub like the “Tamang Panahon” concert at the Philippine Arena this Saturday and the upcoming birthday celebration of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza which he perceives as a big threat to their rival noontime show.
“‘Pagkatapos ng Tamang Panahon, birthday ni Alden, first Valentine’s date nila, birthday ni Yaya… Kawawa ang kalaban,” he said.
“Eat Bulaga” has been consistently beating “It’s Showtime” in both AGB Nielsen NUTAM ratings and Kantar Media National TV Ratings since the conception of the “AlDub” love team in their #KalyeSerye segment three months ago.
